Main Building
The first exhibit you will notice as you enter our main building is the Antique Hearse. We have more information on it at the museum and the runaway story!
The 1913-2013 Centennial Quilt is a treasured handmade quilt by Diane Hirst that represents early Real County.
This exhibit is a typical bedroom of a young lady in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s.
You can’t say you have cooked until you have cooked on a wood stove. Learn all about the effort to prepare a meal or boil water!
This is a typical fireplace that you would find in a log home or early cabin where the women could also prepare meals. The logs on the wall are from an early-day cabin.
