2024 July Jubilee Parade
We are so excited about our accomplishments at the Real County Historical Museum. We are happy to announce that we won the Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Year 2024 and are very proud of that award! Thank you Frio Canyon Chamber of Commerce!
Since the museum's goal is to honor the past, Directors Bryan and Tracye Shackelford thought we should enter a float in the July Jubilee Parade. They wanted to recreate the float that was done in 1994! So work began. Our float was titled, "Wash Day on the Frio #2". With the help of many people, our float came in 2nd in the Non-Commercial category! And we are proud of that title too! Plus we had tons of fun!
