May 28, 2026 : The Daytripper
It was just another calm Thursday in the Frio Canyon and at the Museum, well, until Chet Garner and Crew from The Daytripper hit town. In a matter of minutes, there were cameras, lights, and lots of action at the museum while a very unscripted reviews were taking place.
The goal of Chet and crew is to inspire folks to get out and explore the people, places, and things that are around them. So, add the Real County Historical Museum as a place that you need to go see; we know that Chet can’t be wrong!!

Like most people, Chet Garner was intrigued with the Nelson Funeral Home Horse Drawn Hearse.
We were so glad that Chet enjoyed the hearse until he opened the back door and let all the ghosts out. We are still trying to get them all back in.
