A Day at the Museum - Saturday, November 2, 2024
Featuring Archeology and Geology
The Real County Historical Museum would like to invite you to “A Day at the Museum: Featuring Archeology and Geology”. Join us for this special fun-filled day. David Barklow will present a program about the Indigenous Peoples of Real County. We will have a petroglyph, points, fossils, and petrified woods to view. There will be demonstrations on the use of various archaic tools and fun things for the kids, including a dig! Did I mention Door prizes for the kids and adults? If you are an arrowhead or fossil collector you are welcome to set up a table at no cost to display your collection. If you want to display, bring your table, chair, and canopy if you have or want one. Don’t have a canopy? We have a lot of shade! We do request that you stay with your collection.
