05 October, 2024 : Museum Raffle
We are so lucky!! Ike Maples of Saddle Mountain Creations has donated one of his beautiful pieces of laser art for us to raffle as a fundraiser for the Real County Historical Museum. This piece commemorates the 2024 Eclipse, marking Leakey as the Hot Spot for viewing. The work is one of 5 numbered editions and the last of this series. The 4 others were sold. This is #5 and is sure to become a collectible item and a keepsake for years to come. We are so happy to have it. Thank you, Ike Maples.
Over these last three years, we have had great items to raffle. This is turning into an annual event and we could not be happier. All have been hand-crafted and I like that idea. Our first was the chain saw carving of a life-size javelina by Doug Moreland, the second was a hand-made knife and sheath by M. L. Hill, and now we have this laser-designed art commemorating the eclipse by Ike Maples!
Raffle tickets are on sale now for $2.00 each with a sliding scale or the more you buy the less money for more tickets!!

The raffle will run until the Saturday after Labor Day, October 5, 2024!
